3. Write routinely over extended time frames (time for reflection and revision) and shorter time frames (a single sitting or a day or two) for a range of discipline-specific tasks, purposes, and

Session 2
I completed my initial plan in class and emailed it to Clarice along with my goals. Below is her feedback.

Hi Pryscilla!
I like your lesson plan -- you have clear goals, and your activity is engaging and connected to your learning objectives! Is there any way you can put this in a Word document without the grid/table? For your instructional steps/procedures, you still need to flesh these out with more detail. Remember, you want to be so incredibly detailed and clear that someone else could follow your lesson plan. If you were absent, would a sub know what to do?
Your unit plan goals look great!
Your unit plan objectives still need a little work. You need to look back at the sheets Dr. Young passed out again. You should have one main objective in each area, then several smaller and more concrete objectives under each main goal.
Ex:
SWBAT
1. Understand the components of a lesson plan
1.1 write out the specific instructional steps
1.2 write out the accommodations
1.3 connect activity to goals and objectives
Does that make sense?
Session 3
After receiving feedback from Clarice. I sent 3 lesson plan ideas to Crystal Simmons. She sent the following feedback.

Hi Crystal,
Attached are my goals, objectives, and initial lesson plan. Please
let me know if I'm on the right track and what adjustment should be
made.
Your objectives look fine as of now. I would also need to see the other [[#|lesson plans]] to see if they align. I also sent feedback/comments regarding your lesson 1 and goals. Have a good weekend!

Session 4
I was able to get feedback from my CT as well.
Hi Beatrice,
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you; I have been sick and was out on Wednesday.
The plan looks good though I'm wondering about the time frame for the lesson - it may take into the next day. And that's ok - you can see how the class flows and that will be fine.
A few questions:
1) Will you be creating new classroom expectations, or will they be same as now? If so, what would those be?
2) The part that includes a Powerpoint presentation on life during the Reconstruction period will/may be information that was covered in Reconstruction - so would that be a repeat of information, or a reminder? I'm thinking of parts that may save time in the lesson and you don't want to spend a lot of time on something that was already taught unless you tie it into the next subject/unit.
3) Your Homework section has them reading a passage from The Jungle - where will the book come from for them to read - or is it a copy of the passage that will be handed out to the students? We have a great video on The Jungle that we showed last year if you want to use it.
4) Just checking on your sequence for the unit - are you doing Immigration first, then going into industrialization, Robber Barons etc.?
These are just some thoughts/suggestions, so please use, or not use, as you see fit.
Talk with you later - have a great weekend!
